DEEP/CORRIDOR — LENGTH: VARIABLE
THE CORRIDOR
the corridor gets narrower as you walk. this is not a metaphor. the CSS is literally reducing the max-width. the walls are closing in. the document is compressing you.
step 1. you entered the website through a door. clair or obscur. you chose a side.
step 2. you found the incident file. or the red box found you. HIGHLY SUS ACTIVITY DETECTED.
step 3. you clicked. you entered the document. you heard the audio. you started scrolling.
step 4. you read about the investigation. about the 33 days. about the altar. about the facility.
step 5. you saw the photographs. the hallway. the blades. the candles. the dagger. the note.
step 6. you read the messages. "join me in my destruction." "nevermind." "bb."
step 7. you reached the corruption zone. the page started breaking. the audio got worse.
step 8. you found the backrooms. you went deeper. you went down.
step 9. you found the archive. some files were drowned. you kept going.
step 10. you found the vault. three compartments were open. four were locked. you wanted to see inside.
step 11. you are in the corridor now. the corridor is your reading history. the corridor is how far you've gone. the walls are the boundaries of the content you've consumed.
step 12. the corridor ends.
